A professor from the USA wanted to buy a property in London as a rental investment which could later become a London base for him.
What did we do?
We liaised on skype and email to explain the important factors to consider when purchasing a rental property and how to get the best return on your investment or yield on the property. We viewed and short listed a number of properties matching his brief and gave him detailed descriptions of them via email. We put him in touch with solicitors for the transaction and negotiated on the property in Marylebone he wanted to make an offer on. We then sourced furniture to fit out the property ready for rental and organised a trusted agent to find tenants and manage the property for him.
The result?
He saved 9% on the property asking price. He had an experienced property consultant advise him on how the UK rental process works and what to look out for when buying an investment property. He had his property making him a return on his investment 3 weeks after the purchase.
