Situation

An MBNA professional based in Hong Kong required a 3 bed flat to rent in St Johns Wood or Marylebone for his stay in London whilst he completed his studies.  He wanted to be able to move in to the accommodation the day he arrived in London.  Being based in Hong Kong meant he couldn’t view properties or call London agents easily.  He also wanted advice on safe areas to live within close proximity to where he was studying.

What did we do?

We contacted him via email and skype to get an exact idea of his requirements and then kept in contact every two days.  We viewed a number of properties that were available to move into for the date he required.  We took extra photos and videos of the properties to send to him via email so he had a clear idea of the properties available.  We gave him advice on the areas’ amenities and transport.  Once we had found a suitable property we negotiated the price down on his behalf.  We met him as he arrived in London from the airport to ensure a smooth handover and move in to the flat.  At the end of the tenancy we were on hand to help with the retrieval of the deposit and check out of the flat.  As requested we also advised him on property investments in London.

The result?

We saved him 20% off the monthly rental asking price. Great accommodation organised for him without him even seeing it beforehand.  Peace of mind knowing he had a personal representative he could trust in London and  could call upon for any help during the tenancy.
