Situation

A lawyer and his wife living in Highgate wanted to leave London and move to the country to get a larger property.  They both had extremely demanding jobs and did not have the time to do all the property searching required.  They wanted to move to Hertfordshire but didn’t know exactly where so needed advice on the villages and towns in the county.

What did we do?

We met with them both to go through their exact property requirements.   We gave them advice on the areas that we felt would match their brief.  We then kept in daily contact will all the relevant local agents on their behalf.  We got in touch will our off market property contacts in the area.  After viewing and short listing a number of promising properties we arranged for a convenient time for the couple to view the properties in one go.  Once they had seen a property they wanted to buy we then negotiated the property price down and saw the buying process through to completion.

The result?

We saved them 10% off the asking price.  The purchase process ran smoothly.  They saved lots of time going back and forth to Hertfordshire.
